Shipping Policy

At GIK Acoustics, every product is handcrafted and made to order. Because each piece is built specifically for you, shipping times depend on the number of orders in our production queue when your order is placed.
To keep things fair for all customers, we process and ship orders in the exact order they are received.

 

Order Processing & Build Times

Our standard build time is 5–15 working days, meaning most customers receive their order within 10–20 working days from purchase.
During peak seasons or due to material delays, build times may extend. If this occurs, we’ll notify you promptly with an updated estimate.

 


Shipping Within the UK & EU

We operate facilities in both the United Kingdom and the European Union, ensuring fast and seamless delivery with no customs fees or import duties.
Orders are shipped via trusted carriers such as FedEx, UPS, GLS, or freight partners depending on order size and location.
You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.
Deliveries are curbside unless otherwise noted. Please ensure your location is accessible and someone is available to receive the shipment.

 

Shipping to Other Regions

For countries outside the UK and EU, including Switzerland and rest of world (ROW) destinations, orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import fees, which are the recipient’s responsibility.
Customs clearance procedures may cause additional delays beyond our estimated timeline.

 

Freight Shipments

Larger orders may ship via pallet freight.
Freight deliveries are curbside only (to the nearest accessible point) and require someone to be present to accept the delivery.

Damaged Shipments

We pack every order carefully to ensure safe arrival.
If your shipment arrives damaged:
 • Report it within 48 hours of delivery.
 • Email us at europe@gikacoustics.com with photos of the packaging and product.
We’ll resolve the issue quickly with a replacement or repair.


Backorders & Stock Availability

In rare cases, a material or fabric may be temporarily unavailable.
We’ll notify you immediately with the estimated restock date and give you the option to wait, modify, or cancel your order.
