Guitarists Tom Quayle and Jon Gomm sit down to discuss the importance of acoustic treatments in recording environments for both isolation and absorption. Jon prefers professionally constructed acoustic panels by GIK Acoustics to mitigate reflections and isolate the talent.

As you’ll hear in the video, acoustics is all about treating the source, not just upgrading the gear. When focusing on acoustics, the difference is incredible for not nearly the cost of the equipment and is going to allow for consistency across devices and recordings.
